Why.
There is an elephant in the room of every country in the world. No one seems to want to talk about it so we have chosen to continue in our pain. Our elephant's name is Grief. We have all had to live with the massivity of our pain during this error without relief.
Sometimes healing begins at simply knowing you are not alone. As you dare to take this journey, you will meet others like yourself who involuntarily became acquainted with grief: Job, David, Rizpah, Naomi, and Jesus Christ. Take a moment to examine their griefs and responses for the purpose of finding encouragement and answers as to how to handle your own.
I encourage you to embrace your healing process, realizing that unattended wounds almost always become infected. Consider this book as wound care. The necessary discomfort. It may take you until the end of the book to get the right leverage, but I believe grief will be lifted and replaced by the yoke of Jesus Christ.
For my yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Matthew 11:30
