Why.

There is an elephant in the room of every country in the world. No one seems to want to talk about it so we have chosen to continue in our pain. Our elephant's name is Grief. We have all had to live with the massivity of our pain during this error without relief.

Sometimes healing begins at simply knowing you are not alone. As you dare to take this journey, you will meet others like yourself who involuntarily became acquainted with grief: Job, David, Rizpah, Naomi, and Jesus Christ. Take a moment to examine their griefs and responses for the purpose of finding encouragement and answers as to how to handle your own.

I encourage you to embrace your healing process, realizing that unattended wounds almost always become infected. Consider this book as wound care. The necessary discomfort. It may take you until the end of the book to get the right leverage, but I believe grief will be lifted and replaced by the yoke of Jesus Christ.
For my yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Matthew 11:30

Collateral Damage is moving! It’s powerful enough to guide, support and comfort you thru your grief process. Grief is different for each of us. As we go through day-to-day life we never know when it’s our time. The young healthy guy on the treadmill who drops dead, the innocent daughter sitting in the backseat when the drunk driver runs the red light, we just don’t know when it’s our time. Since this is indeed true, how do you think that affects the ones that love us who are left behind? It leaves questions for God; it leaves the family and friends in excruciating pain and then they become the heavy lifter because the deceased is now collateral damage. As this book addresses the elephant in the room, it begins to give a deeper insight into our inner man. While looking at stories from the bible of the men and women who deal with this same grief process reinforcing that only God can bring peace and change our perspectives about the loss in our lives. Collateral Damage gives your insight and defines gray areas where confusion may be as to why the loss may seem so great. This book will encourage, uplift, may even make you shed a few tears, but it is consolation to cheer the soul. My prayer is Revelation 21: 4 “he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. “And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”
